Turkey Breakfast Sausage

It’s so great to wake up in the morning to sunshine streaming into the kitchen, hot coffee, pancakes and sausage. I like to make these sausages in advance to save time… and because I’d rather be enjoying my morning coffee versus cooking. Yes, even we foodies don’t enjoy spending any more time cooking than we have to; we’d rather be enjoying.

This is my favorite Turkey Breakfast Sausage recipe. Enjoy!

Yield: 16 small patties

Turkey Breakfast Sausages

Turkey Breakfast Sausages
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 10 minutes
Total Time 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons dried sage
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 2 pounds ground turkey

Instructions

  1. Place turkey in a large bowl and add the remaining ingredients (sage, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and marjoram). Using your hands; form mixture into patties.
  2. Cook patties in a large skillet over medium-high heat until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, about 5 minutes per side.
