Porta Via

This is the 3rd time I’ve enjoyed the Porta Via caesar salad ($9.50) with grilled chicken and it’s consistently good.  No complaints at all.  The atmosphere is lively but intimate, the food fantastic… and the red wine really tops it all off.  Rob and I generally come to Porta Via for special events or evenings when we want a casual but up-scale atmosphere.  You can view the food being prepared from the dining area (open kitchen) and the staff always make you feel like you are part of the family.

My Favorite Menu Item

I especially enjoy the Porta Via Caesar Salad with grilled chicken because every ingredient is just so fresh.  The cheese is strong (but not overly so) and the dressing creamy and complimentary.  The accompanying meal bread is heavenly.  I am not a bread lover but I could sit down & eat a full loaf at this establishment.  Porta Via is the place to go if you want a memorable and special dining experience.  Rob always tries different menu items and he has been equally impressed with them all… me, I always opt for my Chicken Caesar with grilled chicken.  I wish I was there right now… maybe Rob and I can go later this week (again).  Yes, it’s that good.  Give it a try and you wont be disappointed.
