Mushroom Burger Steaks

Sometimes, a simple dinner like my Mushroom Burger Steaks helps to make a long tiring day seem a little less frustrating. I love this recipe because I usually have most of the ingredients on hand. As a result, you can understand why this is one of my favorite go-to recipes.

Last week, Rob and I enjoyed these Mushroom Burger Steaks with some Roasted Green Beans. We generally enjoy meals like this because it’s so much easier to control our blood sugars with lower carb options. Perhaps you’ll prefer to enjoy these steaks over some mashed potatoes but I think these simple steaks and roasted green beans are a complete meal. Isn’t it funny how everyone enjoys something slightly different?

A Nice Hot Meal for Wintery Weather

We’ve had some very wintery weather in Boston this week. A blizzard came to visit us on Thursday. Consequently, Rob and I eagerly donned our fuzzy socks and smiled from inside our snuggly condo.

Boston Winter

On Friday morning, Boston was still a winter wonderland but our city had been hard at work while the rest of us were sleeping. Almost all of the snow had been removed from the street! Hence, I hope the road-workers had nice hot dinners to come home to on Friday night (like these hearty Mushroom Burger Steaks!). So good!
